Terms & Conditions
These terms govern all process of Ordering, Payment, Refund & Delivery
1. Order Placement
Orders may be placed through our online shop, by visiting our office at Ihumwa, Dodoma, or by contacting Megastone Limited’s Sales Team.
2. Quantity Responsibility
The customer is solely responsible for confirming correct item quantities before placing an order. Megastone Limited does not accept returns of surplus materials remaining after construction or use.
3. Order Confirmation
Once an order is confirmed and production has commenced, the order cannot be modified. Any changes requested thereafter may attract additional costs, subject to the stage of production.
4. Refund policy
No refunds shall be issued once production has started, regardless of order changes, cancellations, or customer-related circumstances.
5. Price & Delivery Variations
Any approved order changes may result in adjustments to pricing and expected delivery dates, depending on material availability, production schedules, and revised specifications.
6. Returns Policy
Returns are accepted only for defective or incorrect items, provided that:
The issue is reported within two (2) days of delivery, and
The items are unused and in original condition.
7. Payment Terms
Full payment (100%) must be made prior to delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing. No order shall be processed or released without confirmed payment.
8. Shipment
Shipment charges are borne by the customer. Customers may arrange their own transport, in which case free mechanical loading (forklift or crane) will be provided for compatible trucks.
9. Megastone Transport Option
Where the customer opts to use Megastone Limited transport, shipment charges will be calculated fairly based on delivery distance and order quantity.
10. Site Accessibility & Safety
The customer must ensure that the delivery site is safe, accessible, and suitable for our service vehicles. Truck allocation will be based on site information provided by the customer.
11. Delivery & Receiving
Megastone Limited will notify the customer via email and/or WhatsApp of the loading date and time. The customer must ensure that a responsible person is available on site to receive and sign for the delivery.
12. Waiting Charges & Delays
If delivery is delayed due to site inaccessibility, absence of a receiving person, or customer-related issues, a waiting charge of TSh 100,000 per hour shall be invoiced. Megastone Limited shall not be liable for delays caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or unforeseen circumstances.
13. PRODUCT USE & INSTALLATION
While Megastone Limited ensures product quality, we are not responsible for improper installation or use outside our provided guidelines. Customers are strongly advised to engage skilled and qualified technicians for installation. Upon request, Megastone Limited may recommend experienced installers.
14. Shipping Pallets
For customer-managed deliveries under EX Works (EXW) – Incoterms® 2020, all shipping pallets remain the property of Megastone Limited. Customers must return the pallets before the next shipment is dispatched. Where pallets are not returned, a refundable deposit of TSh 10,000 per pallet shall apply. Subsequent shipments will not be released until pallets are returned or the deposit is settled.
